Children are included and embraced in worship at MMBC (even the extra wiggly ones!)
On your way into worship, stop at one of our "Kids' Stations."
The Kid's Station includes:
-kids' coloring worship bulletins with crayons,
-children's picture bibles and picture books,
-quiet fidgets to borrow.
*Parent Guides for tips on how to make Worship a spiritually formative time for your child and family.
Your child gets to sit with the family with all these great tools as they are "discipled through imitation." That is, as they observe Mom or Dad worshiping, they grow through imitating that worship. Our church family embraces all the extra bumps and noises that children bring so that we can raise the next generation to follow Jesus.
About 10 minutes into worship, Pastor Skyler will invite the children to come sit with him up front for a special Children's Moment. Kids love this time to learn about Jesus at their level, and they love the sucker they get at the end!
After the Children's Moment, ages 0 to Kindergarten dismiss for Nursery, while older children return to sit with their families. They'll get the chance to witness their families sing, give tithes and offerings, take notes during a sermon, and share the Lord's Supper once a month.
*Nursery: We provide a safe, clean nursery with authorized volunteers. Just follow the many signs to the Nursery, which is located by the Randolph Street entrance. Parents will sign in their child and receive a buzzer to be alerted if needed.
