Preaching here is:
-Good News
-straight from the Bible
-for everyday, real life.
We are determined to raise the next generation to know and love Jesus, so children are included and embraced in worship at MMBC (even the extra wiggly ones!)
Nursery:
We provide a safe, clean nursery for ages 0 to 6 with authorized volunteers. Just ask anyone where to go, or follow the signs to the Nursery, which is located near the Randolph Street side. Sign in your child and receive a buzzer to be alerted if needed.
Kids:
When you arrive at worship: stop by a "Kid's Station." This includes:
-kids' coloring worship bulletins,
-crayons,
-children's picture bibles
-picture books,
-and even fidgets to borrow!
Not only that, grab a Parent Guide for tips on how to make Worship a spiritually formative time for your child and family. Your child gets to sit with the family and observe Mom or Dad worshiping. Our church family is ready to embrace all the extra bumps and noises that children bring so that we can raise the next generation to follow Jesus.
About 10 minutes into the worship service: Pastor Skyler will invite your children to come sit with him up front for a special Children's Moment. Kids love this time to learn about Jesus at their level, and they love the sucker they get at the end!
After the Children's Moment, ages 0 to Kindergarten may return to the Nursery, while older children return to sit with their families. They'll get the chance to witness their families worship, give tithes and offerings, take notes or draw pictures during a sermon, and see the Lord's Supper.
